Motif Magazine and Stone Soup Coffee House

will sponsor a competition for the independent musicians

of Rhode Island. The final event is scheduled for May 3^rd, 2008,

 at the Stone Soup Coffee House, 67 Roosevelt Ave, Pawtucket RI.

“Rhode Island Idol”, is exactly what the name

 suggests! It’s an opportunity for local musicians

to compete for the title of Rhode Islands Idol.

 Whether you are from Newport, Providence,

Warwick, or South County we are proud to call

you our musicians and invite you to showcase

your talent.  Traditional, Folk, Rock and Roll, Hip Hop

R&B, Alternative, Punk, Rockabilly, Celtic, Indie, Funk,

Soul... basically, whatever you have to offer.

Our contestants will be judged by our local

Celebrities  and have a chance to win a variety
