     Brooklyn Welcomes

 Larisa Micheletti

 www.Larisa-Designs.com

Born, raised, and educated in Central Asia

(Ashgabat City, Turkmenistan, a former

part of the USSR), Larisa dates her passion

for art from an early school age when

she attended drawing classes in after school

programs. She developed a fusion of art

styles growing up in a multicultural environment.

Larisa graduated from the University of Textile

Industry (Tashkent, Uzbekistan) in 1993 with

BA in Design & Art. There, she was part of a

costume design committee for over 200

participants for the Independence Day of

Uzbekistan in 1992. She was also one

of the designers and participants for numerous

fashion shows of the University’s Fashion Theater.

Larisa is an easel painter as well as muralist.

Her art style is focusing on fantasy themes,

illustrative ideas, and fashion sketches in

acrylics, ink pen, oil pastels, ink on wet,

color pencils, fabrics, faux finishes, and

often a combination of the above for

different effects. Many of her pieces are

representations of women - the feminine

forms of emotions, moods, and characters.

She resides in Cranston, RI with her husband

          and two children
